Database
This article will guide you through the Database tab, the second main tab from the platform. This tab hosts the area that includes the filters, company details, and many other important elements. Here, the advanced filtering options allow you to target the companies that are interested precisely in the products that you’re offering. There are a number of filters that can be used alone or in combination. We recommend that users not apply many filters at once, because they might miss some promising buyers.
There are 10 main filters:
Product Categories
The first filter is the Product Categories filter. Here you can select the main category of products that the companies that you’re looking for import or distribute - Wine, Sparkling Wine, Organic Wine, Spirits, Beer, Cider.
Company Type
The Company Type filter allows you to select the activity of the company. You can choose from options such as Importer, Distributor, Wholesaler, Retailer, Online Store, Wine Agent & Broker or Large Retail Chain.
Location
One of the most important filters, the Location filter allows you to select the country, city, or state in which the importers/distributors are located. You can also exclude certain locations to refine your search.
Brand & Product
Unique to our platform, the Brand & Product filter allows you to identify importers of specific types of products or brands. For example, you can locate buyers of Pinot Grigio or of Bollinger champagne. This filter works by searching for the exact keywords that you enter in the text displayed on the websites of the importers from the database. However, please note that the search may not be 100% accurate for all importers, as some may have websites that are not easily searchable. If you find that the number of companies displayed after the search is too small, consider using the basic Filters and do a manual search as well.
The Brand & Product filter can also be used to search for importers and distributors of various brands similar to yours.
Product Origin
The Product Origin filter allows you to search for wines or other beverages produced in a certain country. For example you can locate importers who focus on wines from Italy.
Company Name
The Company Name filter allows you to search for a specific company by name or website. This filter will display complex details about the company and its employees.
Employees
The Employees filter allows you to filter companies based on their size, specifically the number of employees.
Year Founded
The Year Founded filter allows you to enter a range of years between which the companies were created. This can be useful for those who prefer to work with either established companies or newer importers on the market.
Contact Details
In this filter area, you can select to view companies for which certain contact details are available. These details include contact person email, general email, fixed phone, mobile phone, or WhatsApp contact.
Contact Name
The Contact Name filter allows you to enter the name of a contact you might know from a company. If available, you will be able to view their contact details in the platform.
Job Title
The Job Title filter is another important filter, where you can enter the job title of the persons for which you want to see contact details. This can be useful for targeting specific roles within a company, such as "Buyer" or "Purchasing".
Your filter selection can be saved and used later, so you don’t have to set up the filters each time you use the Database tab. We hope this article has helped you understand the various filters available in the Database tab. Happy searching!
